How we help

Support that meets you where you are

We work with adults who want to feel better, build skills and get closer to work. You don't need a referral to get in touch.

A mindful walk through the woods

Wellbeing & mental health

Feel more like yourself again

When life feels heavy, a friendly group and a bit of fresh air can make a real difference. Our wellbeing work is for adults dealing with stress, anxiety, low mood or loneliness.

We're not a crisis service, but we will listen and help you find the right support if you need more.

  • Wellbeing sessions and peer support groups
  • Natural Strengths: gardening and time outdoors
  • Mindful walks and gentle physical activity
  • Help to find other local services

Skills for life & work

Learn at your own pace

Short, practical courses in a friendly room, with tutors who take time to explain. Whether you're learning English, getting back into work or want to feel more confident, we'll find the right starting point.

  • English (ESOL) for adults, from beginner upwards
  • CVs, job applications and interview practice
  • Customer service and workplace communication
  • Confidence and personal development courses

Loneliness can affect anyone. Our groups are a warm, easy way to meet people, share a cuppa and try something new.

  • Fab after Fifty: activities and friendship for people aged 50 and over
  • Crafts and chat, and afternoon tea get-togethers
  • Community events at our Haslingden hub
