What we collect through this website
- Your name and your phone number or email address, if you send them to us using the contact form or by email.
- What you tell us in your message. This may include details about someone you are referring to us, which you should only share with their agreement.
- Basic information about how the website is used, but only if you accept analytics cookies.
Why we use it
We use what you send us to reply to you, to arrange support, and to follow up an offer of volunteering or partnership. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us and running our organisation. If a message raises a safeguarding concern, we may need to share it with the local authority or the police to keep someone safe.
We never sell your information, and we don't use it for marketing unless you have asked us to keep in touch.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries only for as long as we need them to deal with what you asked about. Records about people we support, and any safeguarding records, are kept in line with our data protection, data retention and safeguarding policies, which you can ask us for.

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, delete it or stop using it. Email info@positivesmiles.co.uk and we'll reply within one month.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
